The Crown of Crucis English country hotel is 2 miles east of Cirencester on the A417 Lechlade/Fairford road.

J11A from the M5 and J15 from the M4 both take you to Cirencester's new by-pass. Exit at the Burford Road Junction and from there follow signs for Lechlade & Fairford.

Cirencester, known as Corinium, was the capital of the Cotswolds in Roman times and is the gateway to the South Cotswolds. It lies at a major crossroads of both Roman and modern roads.
